Leslie fell in love with storytelling when she got her first taste of it at age 11, she was a kid reporter in Boston on WBZ AM 1030's Kid Company News. Since then, Leslie has worked in every facet of the media: from assignment desk editor,  production assistant, writer, photographer, editor, producer to reporter. She's also worked in every medium: radio, television, print, documentary and dotcom.  She's also experienced the other side, working in public relations and corporate communications, which has allowed her to see storytelling through a more detailed lens. While working in corporate, she was named "Creative Professional of the Year."

She's been served on the board for two non-profits and is currently PR Team Chair for the Annapolis Film Festival. A huge fan of her Alma Maters', she writes passionately about the impact of education. Beyond the educational system, Leslie is extremely driven to speak to mothers, validating their role in society.  She addressed career moms, stay-at-home moms and moms in transition at the "Redefining Success Conference."
